I suggest that you look at the company accounts before 'suggesting' that they take out millions in expenses etc. Wisel is correct and you are talking total tosh. Your post stating; 'The owners do indirectly take out of the club, whether it is in expenses (travel, chauffers, airflights etc) or through subsiduary loans from their companies. This is not to say they are free loading by any means - but those outgoings do run into millions', is totally false and potentially leaving yourself open to libel. Facts: Neither DG nor DS claim any expenses that they incur whilst working for Blues. They do not get paid ANY salary for working for Blues. They do not take a single penny out of Blues. They have loaned Blues millions at nil interest. They have put in millions of their own money. Question: How many people work the hours they do, lend the money they do, yet not receive any money through; expenses, salary or interest on their loans? Answer: Very few people in this take all and profit orientated world. The originator of this post couldn't even get the correct person's quote. It was DG who stated the 'quote', not David Sullivan at all - shakes head. 'gene autry' then follows up with total tosh about DG and DG stating; 'The owners do indirectly take out of the club ..... and ......'those outgoings do run into millions'. One day I hope that someone gets sued on this board and then perhaps the throw away remarks and accusations will be more circumspect. I for one am grateful we have them both at the helm. I just wish some people who don't have a clue on the facts (or reality!) would stop making totally false insinuations. Check facts before spouting off. O.K Karen. :P |

While I don't disagree with the point that its clear the owners haven't regularly taken money out of the club your facts are a little askew The report and accounts for 2007 showed a payment of £485,000 to a company that forms part of David Sullivan's pension company, the same amount was also paid jointly to Ralph and David Gold through a different company. This is over and above the repayment of loans to directors. The owners never directly pay funds to the club themselves, this is through their holding companies, this is then (as you correctly state) repaid interest free. In defence of the directors the period that they took the payments to their pension funds this was the time of the proposed takeover, it remains to be seen if this will continue. |

Pge 24 of the 2007 accounts says "£485k paid to Roldvale for DS services; £485k paid to Gold Group International for DG and RG services." That's £9326 or £4663 per week for a 52 week year or £1332 or £666 per day for a seven day week. As this assumes that they are working exclusively for BCFC these rates are the minimum daily and weekly rates. I have no problem with them receiving payment for services they give, providing they are a reasonable charge against BCFC plc and the three individuals don't suggest that they don't take a penny from the club. Personally I'm not sure that there is value for money here. Remember KB is the MD and manages the club on a day-to-day basis, whereas the others are non-executive. |

Am I correct in saying DG and DS didn’t sell their shares to CY? If this is the case, the £15mill is misleading as the share holders that sold have pocketed that money. This money is not available to club!! |

That is not taking profit from the coffers of BCFC at all, it is taking money from a fellow investor. You said it yourself 'from Carson Yeung' Get it right eh? As for being in a different scenario.....who managed us into that different scenario? Perhaps it just changed by iteself eh? |
